For UPGRADE - Find Your Fit - Size Guide
The printable Find Your Fit Guide is a custom measuring tool made to help those who are a little apprehensive about making the transition from buying your favourite shoes in store to buying them online. If your “umming and ahhing” while looking at the different fittings that different brands have to offer, grab some sticky tape, a ruler and this guide and overcome the feelings of not knowing what to expect when choosing the right fit online.
What you need:
- Printer
- Access to the internet
- Either Chrome browser, adobe or Firefox (This technique does NOT work with Microsoft edge or Explorer)
- Sticky tape
- A measuring tool (ruler, tape)
- Socks (if necessary)
Printing your fit guide
- Click the printable “Find your Fit Guide” link to download your guide
- Open the document
- Before printing, ensure it is NOT fit to the page (you can do this by unticking the “fit to page” box under your printing settings)
- Print your fit guide
Assembling your fit guide (or you could call it What to do next)
- Using the dotted line at the bottom of the page 2, line up page 1 to fit the edge of the paper against the dotted line
- Sticky tape the edge of page 1 to the dotted line on page 2
- Using your measuring tool, check that the centimeters are lined up (they may be 1-2mm off, that’s okay!)
Measuring your fit
- Fold outward the dotted line at the bottom of your fit guide
- If you are planning to wear socks with your new shoes, pop them on now
- To ensure accuracy, place your fit guide with the heel line against a wall and on a flat, hard surface
- Place your heel lining up with the “place heel here” line and against the wall
- Take a look and make note on your sizing in centimeters
- Repeat with the other foot
- Your longest foot is your sizing
