It’s common for people to overlook what’s in their own backyard in favour of adventuring overseas. Perhaps it’s because after a working week, even the weekends can become mundane and predictable, so when it’s time to book our holidays the appeal of far-off places is exciting. Yes - exploring a new country is awesome, BUT at the same time it’s important not to overlook our own magnificent country. We can easily go bushwalking on a weekend, explore suburbs we’ve never ventured into, biked along paths and tracks or take a run on a new path.
It’s time to get our spontaneity back! It’s time to go on some new adventures! If you’re uneasy about venturing out alone to begin with, you can try a walking or bike tour, or a popular beach trail along the coastline.
