All in a Day's Work- Coolcore Towel Review

You know it is going to be a great day on the jobsite when the the safety officer starts by describing in detail the resident venomous snakes and where their hiding spots are. Combine that with record heat temperatures and you’d think there is no way to keep my cool. I was skeptical  that there wasn’t going to be anything special about these Coolcore towels and there was no way that they’d even take the edge off the Queensland sun.

The early morning hours quickly passed by and suddenly I was drenched in sweat. I couldn’t drink enough water or electrolytes to stay hydrated. I remembered that I had promised to try out the Coolcore towel, so I thought why not, it can’t get any worse. I dampened the towel from my sun heated water bottle...mmmm who doesn’t love a heated up water on a hot summer's day? I soaked it through, snapped it through the air and wrapped that purple towel around my neck. Talk about instant gratification and it stayed cooled for a good while before I had to snap it through the air again to make it cool. The Coolcore Towel is a must have in my field bag, I’d even go so far as to say it made my 12 hour day feet like a 10 hour day.
